Once enabled in your account, all translated base content in Wetu will reflect within minutes. Included are all destinations, countries, supplier & your hybrid & custom descriptions. Your customised content will follow somewhat later as those translations start running only after you’ve enabled Machine Translations. 

Any linguistic imperfections you spot can be easily tweaked in Admin, just as you would do to manage & edit your English descriptions.

We’ve brought you Machine Translations to get you onto a good start to solving these problems:

  • You’ve got clients who aren’t 1st language English speakers.
  • There are entire markets you’re not competing in because your content doesn’t speak their languages.
  • It’s official: travellers want travel content in their own languages.
  • We know it takes you a great deal of time & hard work to write, copy & paste translations for each non-English itinerary you create.
  • Any of your preferred supplier content only available in English must be translated before you can publish your itinerary.

POINTS TO NOTE:

  • Taking a phased approach, we’ve started with German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Polish & Norwegian.
  • Your own existing translations take precedence.
  • Existing supplier iBrochure translations take precedence.
  • Machine Translations will automatically run with each content update in the system.
  • Any Day Notes & Pricing you add in the Itinerary Builder will not be translated.
  • Machine ≠ human translations - you still need to check that you’re happy with it.
  • Digital, Virtual & Printable Itineraries, Agent Access, TravelKey & Rebranded iBrochure outputs are affected.
